Guadaloupe Mountains

In 2001 I took a week-long camping trip to the Guadeloupe Mountains in the panhandle of Texas. I had never been camping before and the experience of being in nature 24 hours a day became deeply profound to me. The Guadeloupe Mountains contain a little of everything: there are lush forests, deep canyons, desert sand and cacti, snowy peaks, and windy brush. I credit those mountains with the beginnings of my true artistic development.
